The Taprite 5200 Series Secondary Soft Drink Regulator is a high-pressure inline solution designed for the demanding requirements of soda fountain and Bag-in-Box (BIB) systems. Unlike primary regulators that attach directly to a tank, this secondary unit allows for precision pressure control of a single product line within a multi-tap manifold. With its 160 lb gauge, this regulator is engineered to handle the higher carbonation pressures required for soda concentrates and sparkling water, providing consistent, non-drift delivery even during peak service hours.

This professional-grade regulator is built for durability and safety. It features a 1/4" MFL (Male Flare) inlet for easy daisy-chaining and a 1/4" MFL outlet equipped with an integrated backflow check valve. This check valve is a critical safeguard, preventing syrup or liquid from backing up into the regulator diaphragm if a pressure drop occurs. The wall-mount bracket design makes it ideal for mounting directly onto a BIB rack or the back of a draught manifold, keeping your gas management system organized and easy to service.

Manifold Configuration Pro-Tip: Secondary regulators like the 5200 series are intended to be "daisy-chained." To build a 3-product manifold, you would connect the high-pressure gas from your primary regulator to the first secondary's 1/4" MFL inlet, then use a MFL-to-MFL jumper to feed the next regulator in line. Note: Because this uses flare (MFL) connections, always use 1/4" Flare Washers between the metal-on-metal connections to ensure a 100% gas-tight seal and prevent expensive CO2 leaks.
