54" Grab Bar
The ASI 3702-54 is a straight grab bar that measures 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Strengthened by the inclusion of an intermediate support, the bar is 54 inches long and features a smooth finish. The grab bar is crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing that has an attractive satin finish to cut down on fingerprints, while still giving the unit an attractive gleam. At either end of the grab bar and at the center is a flange that is 3-1/8 inches in diameter. Each flange is made from type-304 stainless steel that is 1/8 of an inch thick and securely herliarc welded to the stainless steel tubing. The grab bar features a trio of snap-on flange covers made of type-304, 22-gauge stainless steel. Measuring 3-3/16 inches in diameter, the flange covers slide downward and snap over the flangs once the unit is installed. The secure fit of the cover conceals the mounting hardware, protecting the grab bar from tampering and acts of vandalism.
