This will ensure the sink remains securely in place during operation. Additionally, if you notice any vibrating noise while the garbage disposal is running, you may need to reinstall the unit or add a support bracket beneath it.
Prolonged vibrations from an improperly installed garbage disposal can damage the enamel coating around the drain hole, leading to cracks and potential leaks. Therefore, taking the necessary precautions during installation is crucial for maintaining the integrity of your sink.
