A Durable & Effective Sticky Trap That's Just Right For Monitoring Control

Finding out which pest insects are eating your plants is the first step in any Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program and this type of sticky trap is the go-to choice for monitoring and control. ARBICO Organics Yellow Pest Traps work as a visual attractant for a wide range of crawling and flying insect pests. They are drawn in by the bright color and become hopelessly stuck. Once they are trapped, the 5" x 7" gridded surface makes it easy to count just how many have landed and been captured on the trap. The sticky surface not only eliminates adult pests caught there, it prevents them from reproducing and creating more to deal with. There is a very low risk to beneficial organisms, but some may become caught by accident. Place these traps inside or out; you can even cut them to form a custom shape for a particular need. Results could vary due to trap placement, seasonal weather variations, size of pest populations present before installing traps, presence and numbers of natural pest predators, extreme weather, chemical spray contamination as well as disruption and/or damage due human or other interference.

The adhesive on these traps in non-toxic, but make every attempt to keep them away from children and pets as they will easily stick to hair and eyelashes. If this does happen, use soap and water to clean it up. Some people also use vegetable or baby oil to remove adhesive.

Instructions

Remove the protective covering and either hang the trap or place it on the ground. You can hang the traps virtually anywhere, or you can insert them into the ground with a stake (not included) and stick that into your growing medium. If hung, traps should be slightly above the plant canopy. These can also be placed on the ground for crawling insects.

• For trapping in the greenhouse or garden, use roughly one trap per 10-25 square feet.
• For monitoring, use roughly 4-6 traps per acre.

The adhesive on our Yellow Insect Traps is NON-TOXIC. However, keep in mind:

• If any part of the trap is ingested, seek medical attention.
• Keep your traps out of the reach of children and pets.
• Keep your traps away from your hair and eyes. The adhesive could easily attach and pull out hair and lashes.

Shelf Life: 2+ years when stored carefully.
