A magnificent storm lantern from the renowned German brand Feuerhand, this is the DR Patent model. Several variants of the DR Patent were produced, and this particular version is the predecessor of the Feuerhand 202 — making it slightly taller than the 201.
This model was produced around 1915 and features a beautifully embossed Feuerhand logo in the glass. The logo is significantly larger than the one used on later Feuerhand lanterns, making it especially appealing to collectors.
For a lantern that is roughly 110 years old, it is in truly remarkable condition — examples this well‑preserved are becoming increasingly rare.
Naturally, it shows light signs of age, which only add to its character.
A wonderful addition to any collection, but also perfectly suitable as atmospheric lighting in the home, garden, or on holiday.
