Vintage Decorative Saucer, Reticulated / Pierced Gilded Lusterware with Purple & Red Flowers, Mid Century Japan Porcelain, Wall Accent Plate, Home Decor, (Discontinued)
Made in: Japan
Vintage: 1950's - 1960's
Details: This beautiful decorative, saucer sized, plate is crafted from vintage iridescent lusterware and features a detailed reticulated design. The pattern features Purple and Red (Fuchsia) flowers with tiny golden leaves in between. Its timeless look will bring a classic yet unique touch to your home. This is actually a saucer, must have lost its teacup a long time ago, but it's so pretty, it is well worth using as decor. The plate is unmarked, after some research we narrowed it down to an import from the Fred Roberts Company in San Francisco. Beautiful as a wall accent plate, they also make pretty "under-plates" for planters, creamers, candles, or for serving lemon wedges at the bar or table.
